EAST (Experimental Advanced Superconducting Tokamak) is the first full superconducting Tokamak device in the world, it was designed and built in China. Superconducting magnet system is the core of EAST, comprises of 16 D-shape toroidal field (TF) coils and 14 poloidal field (PF) coils. Before assembling the device, each magnet should be fully test. During 2006，there are 3 times engineering commissioning, including 3 times cool down and charge experiment, 2 times plasma experiment. The test experiment and engineering commissioning of EAST superconducting magnets are introduced in this paper, magnet diagnosis system, safety interlock system and quench detection and protection system are also introduced.
