Abstract: Efficient CO 2 electrocatalytic reduction to produce low-carbon fuels and valuable chemicals becomes a hot topic of research, and the development of high-efficiency electrocatalysts is one of the key technologies. Despite the increasing reports on the research and development of catalytic materials and the reaction mechanisms, synthetic catalysts are far from meeting the actual requirements
in terms of activity, stability, selectivity and production cost. In recent years, among many explored electrocatalysts, metal sulfides
have exhibited excellent electrocatalytic properties and applications. This paper will review and summarize the research status of new
metal sulfide electrocatalysts and put forward the prospects for future research.
