Abstract: The traditional methods of anti-jamming become less and less effective for two reasons. First, the higher integration of the IC chips causes their higher sensitivity to electromagnetic interference(EMI), and the second, much worse working electromagnetic environment the IC chips have to face. In this case, some basic concepts of bio-system were introduced, their characteristics and the symmetry between bio-system and electronic system were discussed in detail. This idea was also tried to fit into the area of electromagnetic protection. Then, a new kind of protection mode based on the bionic mechanism and model was created and tested primarily. Further more, the relative concepts of electromagnetic bionics (EMB), the technical foundation and the final goal of EMB were expatiated. Finally, some successful woks in this study are listed to prove the feasibility and effectiveness of EMB, and the importance and the necessity of founding EMB discipline.
