Biological molecular motors play a main role in fundamental science in 21st century as a bridge between life science and nanotechnology. ATP synthase is one of the most sophisticated biological molecular motors. Though the investigation of ATP synthase has been carried out for over 60 years, breakthrough has not been made until the recent 10 years, thanks to the interdisciplinary studies of physicists, biochemists and mathematicians, and the development of single molecule technology. This review has presented the major achievements in this field so far and current issues as well.

Ultrahigh- pressure (UHP) metamorphism refer to those metamorphic pressure is higher than 2.5Gpa because of ultradeep conditions. Coesite , metamorphic diamond and other UHP mineral or mineral assemblages typify their collisional origin. In China, Dabie—Sulu collisional orogenic belt developes the most well-exposed and largest in scale UHP metamorphic belt in the world. The development of the UHP metamorphic belt indicates that in the mid –Triassic time the Yangtze craton was deeply subducted beneath the Sino-Korea craton implying that voluminous crustal materials had deeply subducted to a mantle-depth up to 150Km. The careful study of those petrological records remained in the UHP metamorphic rocks reveals their formation, uplift and exhumation processes. From these information the metamorphic PT path and an” active compression and then active extension” 4-stage tectonic evolution model can be reconstructed. Therefore, the study of UHP metamorphism had provided new prospect for the theory beyond plate tectonics onward the continents. And UHP metamorphic study had become a new hot-spot in the field of Earth science.

A nanoscience and technology rises rapidly, is in the world any person, any organization and any country does not have the means impediment. Although has the huge economy and the social efficiency, but like other science and technology, a nanotechnology also is a double-edged sword, how to use its effective one side and avoid its harm, is what we can have to face. In this article, the main domestic and foreign man-made nanomaterials security research progress are summarized in the recent years, Existence questions has been discussed, and the further development proposal is put forward in this foundation.

The study of the reproductive behavior of dinosaur has never produced as much excitement and public attention as in the past period. Well preserved and abundant new dinosaur fossils of eggs and embryos have provided unprecedented new evidence on the reproductive behavior of dinosaur. It is apparent that dinosaurs shared some reproductive characters with crocodilians, some with birds, but also possessed their own unique features. Thus, studies on the oviposition﹑nesting and incubation of dinosaur not only help us to understand the evolutionary history of reproductive behavior of dinosaur, but also illuminate the dinosaurian egg shape and thermoregulation.

Basis on the imaging theory and characterizations of atomic force microscope (AFM), its implications with some examples in surface properties and internal structure of nuclear, protein, cell and microorganism, and its interactions between molecules or cells and its dynamic observation, single molecular manipulation, molecular recognition, and so on, are introduced in this paper. With the development of science and technology, through the improving of AFM self, we believe AFM must become one of powerful tools in life science research.

Historical famine between China and European countries brought serious social effect. Under the affection of famine, the factors of agricultural technology, structure of agriculture production and agricultural development level had impacted on the situation after natural disasters. High level agriculture production benefited to control famine and reduce natural disasters in ancient China, but it is also enlarged the area affected by natural disasters. On the contrary, European countries always suffered destruction from natural disasters, because the low level agriculture technology couldn’t create suitable living environment for cultivated plants and domestic animals before the period of industry revolution.
