摘要:

数字音视频编解码技术标准(AVS)是中国实施自主创新战略的典型案例。AVS标准工作组成立17年来,先后完成了两代标准的制定,第一代AVS标准已经广泛应用于数字电视广播等领域,第二代标准的性能已经赶超了同世代的国际标准,第三代标准正在酝酿中。首先简要回顾AVS标准的产生,然后介绍AVS1/AVS+的应用进展、AVS2标准化的进展及技术性能,以及AVS3的筹备情况。

Abstract:

Audio video coding standard (AVS) is the typical case of China’s implementation of independent innovation strategy. Two generations of standards have been completed since the AVS working group is established in 2002. The first generation AVS standard was been widely used in the field of digital television broadcasting. The performance of the second generation standard was surpassed the international standards of the same generation, and the third generation standard is brewing.This paper briefly reviews the production of AVS standards, and then introduces the progress of AVS1/AVS+, AVS2 and AVS3.
