摘要:   天体灾变是指在相对较短的时标内,能使天体性质发生剧烈、以至根本性变化的事件。它们所涉及的能量之大、后果之严重,是诸如大地震、强飓风、海啸和火山爆发等地球上重大灾变事件根本无法相比的。天体灾变事件对各类天体演化史的影响极为巨大,甚至起着决定性的作用,因而已成为天文学研究的重要内容。本文拟按自近及远、由小到大的路径,对一些主要天体灾变事件及其影响给以简要的介绍。

Abstract: In the solar system, collisions of minor celestial objects, such as comets and asteroids, with the Earth and other planets or satellites and even minor planets led to very serious, even catastrophic effects on the Earth and other objects during their evolution histories. So, such catastrophic evens have become one of the very important issues for astronomers, some of which will be briefly introduced in these serial papers, starting from the Comet SL9 Collision with Jupiter in July 1994 and Extinction of Dinosaurs happened some 65 million years ago.
