Terahertz spectroscopy of magnetically ordered structure:spin wave excitation, dispersion, and coherent control

摘要: 综述了利用THz 脉冲的磁场与磁有序结构相互作用, 实现对磁有序结构中自旋极化的激发及研究自旋极化的弛豫动力学;结合作者最近的研究工作,介绍了利用THz 脉冲实现对磁有序结构中自旋极化的相干控制;最后对相关研究进行了展望。

Abstract: In this paper, we reviewed the research progress about terahertz wave interacting with the magnetically ordered structure; and terahertz time domain spectroscopy is presented to be an effective method to study the spin wave excitation and dynamics. Based on the recent research work at laboratory of ultrafast photonic of Shanghai University, we demonstrate that the spin wave can be excited and coherently controlled with the magnetic component of terahertz pulses.
