摘要

在20世纪的70年代和80年代，英国动物学家蒂姆•克拉顿-布罗克(Tim Clutton-Brock)利用比较研究法分析了灵长动物社会组织多样化的演化。他们的工作促进了早期比较研究法的进一步完善。本文在家域大小、体重性二型、牙齿大小性二型、睾丸大小与生殖体制之间的关系，以及雌性灵长动物性皮红肿特征等方面介绍了比较研究法及其研究成果。

Abstract

In the 1 970s and 1 980s, English zoologist Tim Clutton-Brock analyzed the evolution of social diversity in primate by comparative approach. The analyses introduced marked improvements in methodology over the earlier comparative studies. In this paper, the relationships and improvements are presented among the home ranges, sexual dimorphism of weights and teeth, testicular sizes and reproductive systems as well as sexual swellings of female primates.
