Abstract: In this paper, it briefly retrospected the research history of the lung cancer due to radon and their progeny in the past 500 years, presented the relationship between risk of lung cancer and radon and their progeny inbreathed by uranium miners. It focused on the results of radon indoor, in subsurface constructions and in spring water worldwide. It suggested research the geological sources of radon in the environment and how to control radon level indoor. The approaches to control radon indoor and significance of protection human health were presented
