The Shining History of Anti-Venom Serum: A Winding Road in Scientific and Technological Innovation

Abstract: Based on a report from 17th world biotoxin conference held in Hawaii, USA recently, this introduction provide historical examples in the road on antivenom serum development, which shed light on the unblance between basic reseach and marketing in the field of life sciences, and the scientific thinking and highlights reflected from the history of antivenom serum research and development industry.
