作者简介:卞毓麟，著名科普作家。中国天文学会理事、天文学名词审定委员会任，上海天文学会副理事长，中国科普作家协会理事翻译工作委员会副主任，上海交通大学科学史和科学哲学系兼职教授。从事科普创作30年，参与编著、翻译科普图书百余种，发表科普文章约500篇。代表作品有《星星离我们多远》《挑战火星》《宇宙风采》《群星灿烂》《梦天集》等。短文《月亮——地球的妻子？姐妹?还是女儿?》《数字杂说》等入选中学语文课本。

The life and brilliant achievements of Guo Shoujing (1231—1316), an outstanding scientist of the world at his time, the Yuan Dynasty in China, are briefly reviewed in this paper.
