摘要： 本文是对一门新兴交叉学科——计算统计学的简单介绍与评述，并把George Mason大学E.G.詹姆士教授的一本新书《计算统计学基础》介绍给读者。它有助于我们了解计算科学，尤其是计算统计学这一领域的前沿与概貌。
