大地地磁测探——探测地球深部电性和物质状态的一种有效手段

摘要: 作者全面综述了一种极具发展前景的探测地球深部结构和物质状态的手段,它是以天然大地电磁场为场源,以地球电磁感应效应为基础,可以面对多方面应用需求的一种方法,即大地电磁测深。介绍了地球电磁场的特征和方法的基本原理,随后评述了大地电磁测深提出以来几项突破性的进展。最后给出了大地电磁测深的几方面标志性应用。

Abstract: A comprehensive summary is given of the Magnetotelluric Sounding, for which the nature Earth's electromagnetic field is used as source, and there is large penetration depth. This is an effective approch particularly to survey structure and state of matter in the deep Earth, so possesses good prospect. At first the character of Earth's electromagnetic field and the basic principle of the method is presented, afterwords several breakthrough characteristic advances that have put forward since the early 1960's is reviewed, and finally the survey results in a number of significant application are discussed in detail.
