摘要： 叙述日本物理学家汤川秀树提出介子理论的历程，探讨当一直领军物理学发展的西欧物理学家们为核物理学中出现诸多疑难所困扰时，日本物理学家能够迅速走向辉煌的原因，强调中国哲学思想在科学发现关键时刻的重要性。
Abstract: This article recounts the course the Japanese physicist Yukawa Hideki advanced the meson theory ,discusses the resons why Japanese physicists can go glorious quickly when the leading physicists of Europe are perplexed by the knotty problems of the nuclear physics, and last the author emphasizes the importance of the Chinese philosophy on the science discovery.
