数学符号与明清力学知识*

摘要:
明清时期中国力学知识,是与西方力学知识交汇融合的重要时期,数学符号的传播、使用成为明清的力学知识自身发展的一个缩影。数学符号在明清力学知识中的普及,蕴含着西方科学文化向中国普及与传播的过程;随着科学国际化的不断深入,明清时期的力学知识采用了西方数学符号语言来描述,并很快被推广到明清时期的力学著作中。

Abstract: The Ming and Qing dynasties were the important period to integrate Chinese mechanics knowledge with the western’s. The spread abroad and uses of mathematics sign is a reduction of mechanics knowledge in the Ming and Qing dynasties. The popularization of mathematics sign in mechanics knowledge implicated the process that the western science transmit to china. With the internationalization of science, mechanics knowledge of the Ming and Qing dynasties was described in western mathematics sign language and was used extensively in the mechanical books during Ming and Qing dynasties.
